Choose Joy!
So this past weekend I had the privilege of attending the Women of Faith conference in St. Louis. If you have never been you should make every attempt to go to one in your area! As I was listening to the speakers and enjoying the concerts I started thinking about our circumstances in life. We all face various forms of trials in our lives. As Christians we can be assured of that. The apostle Paul tells us to consider it joy when we face trials. I don't know about you but it is pretty hard to find joy in my trials. So basically we all have a choice. Are we going to allow our circumstances to dictate our thoughts and attitudes or do we find joy in the midst and thank our Heavenly Father for them, because it brings us closer to Him? I pray that I will always try to find joy! So my charge to you is no matter what you are going through, choose to find joy! Joy in the fact that this life is only temporary! That we have a hope and future in Jesus Christ!!

Beth, thanks for the words of truth. It is always a good reminder to have joy in ALL circumstances. Unfortunately, I don't always remember that. I do hope to get to one of those conferences someday, too.
